Arriving by Public Transportation

These directions assume you are arriving in Boston via a plane flight into Logan airport. And assuming you don't want to rent a car. If you've never driven in Boston traffic this is a good choice.

Option 1: Logan Shuttle Woburn + Uber or Lyft car service (the last 6 miles)

From Logan Airport the Anderson Regional Transportation Center (on the Woburn commuter rail line) is the final stop on the Logan Express Woburn shuttle bus. It is strongly recommended to pre-purchase tickets for the shuttle bus online. Logan Express Woburn tickets are just $9 each way when you purchase online, and kids 17 and under ride free when traveling with a family member. The website and schedule is here: https://www.massport.com/logan-airport/getting-to-logan/logan-express/woburn

Option 2: MBTA Silver Line –> Red Line –> 350 Bus

The trip takes about two hours, depending upon your connections. This travel option works if you're departing the airport anytime between 5:00 am and 9:00 pm. (The last 350 bus departs Alewife at 10:20 pm.)

In Logan Airport, follow the signs to board the Silver Line buses. The Silver Line bus (SL1) will stop at all terminals. Boarding is free, as is transfer to the Red Line in South Station. Take the SL1 bus to South Station and transfer to the Red Line.

Once you arrive at South Station, you will need to purchase a one way train ticket for $2.40. This can be done by tapping your credit card against the turnstile screen, or by using Apple Pay or other phone wallets.

Board any Red Line train bound for Alewife station (Inbound). At Alewife Station, take the main exit to the upper level. This is at the ‘head of the train’ end of the station. It is a two story escalator, with an elevator at the end of the platform. Go through the lobby to the bus area, find the spot for the 350 bus. (Note, there are two different bus areas – ask the lobby station attendant where the 350 bus is located.)

Take the 350 bus (North Burlington via Mall Rd) to the Burlington Mall Rd @ Burlington Marriott stop. This will drop you right in front of the hotel. The bus fare from Alewife station to the Hotel is $1.70. MBTA buses also use tap to pay.

To return to the airport or South Station, follow the instructions in reverse. You will need to pay both the Bus fare and the Red Line fare to return to South Station.

Other Options from Downtown Boston

The MBTA 354 bus only runs on weekdays during "rush hours". It runs between Downtown Boston and Burlington. Take the bus to the stop Cambridge St @ Burlington Mall Rd. Then it is a 7 minute walk from there to the hotel.

The 354 bus (Burlington (Express) via Woburn) travels through additional population centers, like Medford Square. It is a potentially better option for some on Thursday and Friday. The Downtown Boston pickup location can be reached via a 5 minute walk from South Station.

For those traveling from South Station, this route is shorter than the MBTA 350 bus from Alewife option, but the 354 bus has a very limited schedule.

From Commuter Rail

There are two commuter rail stations close to the hotel. They are a few miles away, and have Uber and Lyft service available. Commuter rail one-way fares are $2.40 - $13.25 price based on distance traveled and payable with a CharlieTicket or mTicket App. Details, fare calculator, and more found here: https://www.mbta.com/fares/commuter-rail-fares/zones

Take the Haverhill Line to Reading Station, which is approximately 7 miles from the hotel. Boarding available from North Station (Boston) to end of line. Uber and Lyft drivers are available nearby. An advantage is that the Haverhill Line has most frequent train departures. Haverhill Line stations, schedule, alerts, and information found here: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/CR-Haverhill/timetable

Take the Lowell Line to the Anderson/Woburn Station approximately 6 miles from the hotel and also called the Anderson Regional Transportation Center. Boarding available from North Station (Boston) to end of line. Uber and Lyft drivers are available nearby, though fewer than at Reading Station. Lowell Line stations, schedule, alerts, and information found here: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/CR-Lowell/timetable

From the Amtrak DownEaster

If you are arriving by the Amtrak DownEaster train, there is no need to go to Boston. There is a stop at the Anderson Regional Transportation Center on the Lowell Line. Uber and Lyft service is available in the area for the final 6 miles to the hotel. Schedule and information can be found here: https://amtrakdowneaster.com/
