Wendy Van Camp is the Poet Laureate for the City of Anaheim, CA. She is a speculative poet, author, and pen and ink illustrator. Her debut novelette, The Curate's Brother: A Jane Austen Variation of Persuasion. (Indy Published, 2014), will see its novel sequel Christmas in Kellynch published next year. Her poetry collection The Planets: a scifaiku poetry collection (Indy Published, 2019) was an Elgin Award finalist for 2020 & 2021. She is both poet and illustrator of the collection. Time and Space: a speculative poetry collection (Indy Published, in progress), and the editor of Eccentric Orbits 2, 3, and 4 (Dimensionfold Publishing, 2021, 2022, 2023), Anaheim Poetry Review (Indy Published, 2023), and Eye To The Telescope #46, (SFPA Publishing, 2022). Wendy's short fiction and poetry has appeared in numerous venues, including multiple editions of Eccentric Orbits and The Starlight Scifaiku Review; Star*Line, The Lotus Tree Literary Review; Quantum Visions; Far Horizons; Lit Up; and The Junction.
