A former staff reporter at BusinessWeek.com (now Bloomberg Businessweek), Sonja Ryst has published nonfiction in The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Wall Street Journal, and numerous other media. She teaches an online course on how to use narrative in expository writing at New York University’s School of Professional Studies. Her myth-driven satires have appeared in McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Points in Case, Slackjaw, 101 Words, and Little Old Lady Comedy. The Weekly Humorist listed one of her pieces as among its “Best of 2022.”
