Robert V.S. Redick is the author of two epic fantasy series, The Chathrand Voyage Quartet and The Fire Sacraments. His most recent novel, Sidewinders, was called “a brilliant fever dream of a novel that is bound to impress” by Grimdark Magazine and “a breathtaking work” by two-time World Fantasy Award winner C.S.E. Cooney. Of his previous novel, Master Assassins, Patrick Rothfuss wrote, “So good I wish I could have written it, but deep down I know I couldn’t have written it so well.” Robert is the winner of the New Millennium Writings Award and a finalist for the Locus Award, the SFX Novel Award, and the the AWP/Thomas Dunne Award for Best Novel. His short fiction has appeared in Clarkesworld, Puerto del Sol, and various anthologies. Robert has taught fiction writing in the University of Maine (Stonecoast) and University of Nevada MFA Programs, at Hampshire College, and with the Salam Award Workshop in Lahore, Pakistan. He is currently finishing the sequel to Sidewinders. Robert is also a sustainable development consultant and has lived and worked in Indonesia, Colombia, Argentina, and other countries. He now lives with his family in Western Massachusetts.
