Kathleen Jennings is a British Fantasy Award-winning writer and World Fantasy Award-winning illustrator based in Brisbane, Australia. Her books include the recent Australian suburban Gothic novel Honeyeater (2025: Tor; Picador) short story collection Kindling (Small Beer Press) and her debut Australian Gothic Flyaway (Tor; Picador), as well as Travelogues (Brain Jar Press), a small poetry collection about trains taken to conventions. She holds an MPhil and a PhD in creative writing (Australian Gothic and creative observation respectively), draws maps and other art for books you may have read, and gives workshops on writing, illustration and creative methods.
