Francesca Forrest is the author of the Tales of the Polity, about a decommissioner of deities and the divinities she deals with (The Inconvenient God, Annorlunda Books, 2018, and Lagoonfire, Annorlunda Books, 2021) and the novel Pen Pal (2013), a story of friendship and heroism from the margins. Her short stories that have appeared in Fireside Fiction, Not One of UsStrange Horizons, and other online and print venues, including anthologies. She’s old enough to have four grown children and young enough not to have mastered object permanence just yet. She lives in western Massachusetts.
