Christopher M. Cevasco was born in New Jersey and spent a memorable decade in Brooklyn, NY, but he feels most at home in Post-Roman and Anglo-Saxon England. His debut novel, Beheld: Godiva's Story was published by Lethe Press in 2022. He's currently writing a series of novels for Sapere Books (UK) based on the earliest Arthurian legends, the first of which will be published later this year.
Since 2018, Chris has been assistant series editor of the Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy annual anthologies published by Mariner Books/HarperCollins. He is also an ENNIE-award-winning contributor to RPG books from Kobold Press (Guide to Roleplaying (2024), Guide to Dungeons (2023), Tome of Heroes (2022)) and creates D&D supplements available through the DMsGuild. From 2003 to 2009, he was the founding editor of the award-winning Paradox: The Magazine of Historical and Speculative Fiction, and his own short stories have appeared in several magazines and anthologies.
