Charlie Allison is the author of No Harmless Power: The Life and Times of the Ukrainian Nestor Makhno (PM Press, 2023).  He also (semi) regularly writes for PM Press's blog on topics like labor organizing, Bugs Bunny and utopias and edits for them on a freelance basis. Books he has edited for PM include: A People's Guide to Abolition and Disability Justice by Katie Tastrom Insurgent Labor by David Van Deusen Another War is Possible: Militant Anarchist Experiences in the Anti-Globalization Era by Tomas Rothaus He's co-written articles on radical history and its intersection with Magic: The Gathering with Dan Sibley at Commander's Herald. Currently drafting an antique cyberpunk retelling of Euripides's satyr play, THE CYCLOPS as part of a larger 8-bit project on revolution, co-optation and occupation (also with Dan Sibley). His short fiction can be found at the Stone Coast Review (The Cat-eyed Man and the Brass Woman, 2016) and Podcastle (In Mixcoatl's Net, 2016). He's currently at work on a project on the Greek anarchist poet, Katerina Gogou and the importance of poetry to revolutionary endeavors. When not in the research-warrens, he is involved in union organizing and adjunct teaching at a local community college as well as serving in the capacity of 'heavy bag' for his cat at 3am.
