His debut novel The Beast With Nine Billion Feet (Zubaan, 2009) was shortlisted for the 2010 Vodafone-Crossword Children's Fiction Award and the 2010 Carl Baxter Society's Parallax Prize. With Vandana Singh, he edited Breaking The Bow (Zubaan, 2013), an anthology of speculative fiction stories inspired by the great south-Asian epic Ramayana.
