Andrea Kriz is a molecular biologist currently doing postdoctoral research in neurodvelopment at Harvard Medical School and a science fiction author. Her short stories have appeared in Clarkesworld, Lightspeed, and have been translated into French in Galaxies SF. Her short story collection Learning To Hate Yourself As A Self-Defense Mechanism is forthcoming from Interstellar Flight Press. Her recent work includes the short story, "There Art the Art-Makers, Dreamers of Dreams, And There Are AIs" (Clarkesworld, April 2023). She is also a participant in the Dartmouth Speculative Fiction Project, a collaboration between authors and Dartmouth faculty to create an anthology of short fiction exploring the future of humanity.
