Caitlyn Paxson is a writer and storyteller. She has pursued studies in folklore, and performance in the United States, Canada, England, Scotland and France. She is the Managing Artistic Director of the Ottawa StoryTellers, and is assistant editor of Goblin Fruit.
"Carnivale of Abandoned Tales" was the cover story of Issue 10 of Shimmer, and her short fiction and poetry has also appeared in Cabinet des Feés, New Fairy Tales, Mythic Delirium, and Stone Telling. "To the Royal Society of Crypotzoologists, from the Concerned Daughter of a Member" (Goblin Fruit, Winter 2008) was nominated for the Rhysling Award.
She lives in Canada with a magician, a cat, two harps, and a banjo.
