His debut novel The Beast With Nine Billion Feet (Zubaan, 2009) was shortlisted for the 2010 Vodafone-Crossword Children's Fiction Award and the 2010 Carl Baxter Society's Parallax Prize. With Vandana Singh, he edited Breaking The Bow (Zubaan, 2013), an anthology of spec-fic stories inspired by the great south-Asian epic, Ramayana.
