Victoria McManus lives in Philadelphia. "Poppet," her most recent story under her pseudonym, Elspeth Potter, appeared in Sex in the System: Stories of Erotic Futures, Technological Stimulation, and the Sensual Life of Machines from Thunder's Mouth Press, edited by Cecilia Tan. Her recent interview with James Patrick Kelly appeared in Strange Horizons. Outside of writing, she sings with the Choral Arts Society of Philadelphia. She completed her undergraduate degree in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology at Bryn Mawr College and has a Master's Degree in Anthropology from Temple University.
