KJ Kabza is the author of The Ramshead Algorithm and Other Stories (fantasy and science fiction; Pink Narcissus Press, 2018), which contains (among other works) "The Soul in the Bell Jar" (reprinted both in The Year's Best Dark Fantasy & Horror 2014, Guran, ed., and in The Best Horror of the Year, Volume Six, Datlow, ed.) and "The Leafsmith in Love" (Writers of the Future Contest finalist, Q3 2007; reprinted in The Best of Beneath Ceaseless Skies Online Magazine, Year 2, Andrews, ed.).

KJ has sold over 70 fantasy and science fiction stories to places such as F&SF, Terraform, Nature, Strange Horizons, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, Daily Science Fiction, Flash Fiction Online, and many more. His story "This Is a Letter to My Son" (Strange Horizons, 2016) is forthcoming in translation in Future Affairs Administration, and his story "Water: A History" is forthcoming at Tor.com. He is a graduate of Viable Paradise (2014) and is working on a fantasy novel ("it's like Redwall, but with pre-literate, non-Western cultures").
