Charlie Allison is a writer, researcher, and editor with published works in PodCastle, Devilfish Review, and Stonecoast Review. Since 2017, he's written "Historically Speaking", a column on history and its overlap into the fantasy worlds of collectible card games, at edhrec.com. He is a manuscript reader for Lanternfish Press and has gone on to help found and edit for Rhythm and Bones Press, a publication dedicated to turning trauma into art. He graduated from Arcadia University's Creative Writing Program with an MFA in 2018. He lives in Philadelphia with a small horde of animals and the occasional good idea.
